Na primeira fase ganhamos duas partidas com placar marcando 3 gols, contra os EUA, 3 x 0 e contra a Itália 3 x 0, ajudando a classificar os EUA, que seriam nos adversários na final, EUA 3 x 0 Egito. Além de ganharmos por 4 x 3 do Egito na primeira partida. Nas semifinais vencemos os sul-africanos e vencemos por 1 x 0, gol do número 13, Daniel Alves. Aí vem a final contra os EUA, novamente fizemos 3 gols, 3 x 2, suado. E o gol foi de um jogador com a camisa de número..... 3, Lúcio. Pois é, se não bastasse o terceiro título, faz 3 anos que Dunga está à frente da Seleção Canarinho. Agora, só resta agradecer aos 3 da Trindade, Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo. Que venha a Copa de 2010, sim, 2+0+1+0 = 3.

Copa de 2014 deverá abrir mais de 70 mil empregos em Natal

Em pesquisa no site oficial da Fifa (fifa.com), 72,09% dos internautas dizem que o Brasil será campeão da Copa das Confederações contra 27,91% que acham os EUA como vencedor.

Bafanas, eu vi e ouvi!

Eu vi a África do Sul, prá lá de septuagésimo lugar no ranking da Fifa, jogar de igual para igual com a Seleção Brasileira, cinco vezes campeã mundial.

Ouvi Falcão dizer que não sabia porque o lateral Daniel Alves tinha entrado no jogo, na lateral esquerda. Ele saberia poucos minutos depois.

Ouvi o repórter de campo da TV Bandeirantes dizer que o "bafana, bafana" significa avante quando, na verdade é: "meninos, meninos".

Abusei de ouvir os torcedores "bafanas, bafanas" gritarem Boooooooooth, toda vez que o perna de pau gigante tocava na bola.

Ouvi as vuvuzelas (que nome, parece vulvazelas!) tocarem até à exaustão. Ninguém merece.

Ouvi o repórter da TV Globo dizer que Daniel Alves homenageava Daniel Júnior, quando vi que a tatuagem homenageava Daniel Filho.

Ouvi Galvão Bueno elogiando o sexagenário Joel Natalino Santana, mesmo após ele atropelar a língua inglesa ao falar: Brasil again South Africa. South Africa again, no!

Ouvi outra pérola do grande crítico de música brasileira Galvão Bueno quando, ao ver alguns torcedores gaúchos com instrumentos de percussão, soltou a frase: "Esse é o samba gaúcho".

Vi Daniel Alves, de perna direita, tirar o Brasil do sufoco.
